Terms of Service

Last updated September 18, 2026

Agreement

These terms govern your use of Code Paradox, operated by Codeparadox, Inc. ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service

Code Paradox is an education platform for practicing software and system-design problems — interactive problems, roadmaps, and learning content, some of which requires a Premium subscription. Which specific features are available (including Premium billing) can change over time; we'll reflect that on the relevant pages rather than in this document.

Accounts

You sign in with a third-party provider (Google, or Apple where enabled) — we never see or store a password. You're responsible for activity under your account. Let us know if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to bypass access controls, entitlement checks, or rate limits.
  • Use any compute environment we provide for purposes unrelated to solving the assigned problem — including scanning, attacking, or abusing other systems.
  • Interfere with the service's normal operation or another user's access to it.
  • Reproduce, resell, or redistribute problem content without permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Premium subscriptions

Where Premium is offered, it unlocks additional problems and content for the billing period you choose. Pricing and available plans are shown at the time of purchase. We'll describe cancellation and refund handling on the checkout/billing page itself once real payment processing is live.

Content and intellectual property

Problems, roadmaps, and learning content on Code Paradox belong to Codeparadox, Inc. unless stated otherwise. You retain ownership of any original solution or code you submit; by submitting it, you grant us a license to store and process it solely to operate the service (e.g. running checks, saving your progress).

Disclaimer

Code Paradox is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or that content is error-free. It's an educational tool, not a guarantee of any specific interview or career outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Codeparadox, Inc. isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Account deletion and termination

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing law/jurisdiction to be added].
